07.02.2017 GenIUL research in viability PCR for exclusion of false-positive signals

GenIUL R&D team describes a simple and efficient modification of the viability PCR methodology to greatly reduce false-positive rates. It consists in performing both the dark incubation and photoactivation steps of the PEMAX dye treatment in different microtubes. The results demonstrate that the herein proposed modification significantly improved the reduction efficiency of dead cell amplification signals.
